CNN, Obama Clinches Nomination!

Republican or Democrat, you have to admit this is an historic night.
Not to mention this was a historic campaign by both candidates.

About time. Now, the Reps can get busy picking up where Hillary left off... I am less concerned today about running against Obama then I did a few months ago.

Yup, he is the PRESUMPTIVE nominee and i agree it is historic and I am very happy about that but I just don't like the nominee representing that milestone. Oh well, you can't when em all.

Yup, McCain just finished his speech and wasted no time in going after him. Have to say it was direct and it was lethal. Even Harold Ford said it was a great speech. Oh me, oh my...the race has just begun.

You really thought McCain's speech was good?
I thought it was horrible! He struggled to read the teleprompter, his talking points were the same old, same old. If McCain wants to run on the we are winning the war In Iraq come November, the people that are out of work will not vote for him.

O, did you listen to what he said? He came up with some pretty good points and pretty much laid out his campaign.

The delivery was bad but the talking points were direct and precise.

I disagree.
The whole you can't talk to the leaders from to Havana to Tehran is just plain tired.
The Surge is working.
Five years later and approaching a trilliion dollars! Yeah, it should be working.
Putting a new spin on the same old enonomic policies? We've been through hard times before and we'll pull through? That's an economic policy? Please?

I thought McCain's speech was more of the same. I came away from that thinking McCain will be toast in a debate. He can't even deliver a canned speech.

He is talking about things that poll after poll shows America doesn't want. Also, did you guys notice there were only a couple hundred people in his audience? Not good when you look at Hillary's and Obama's crowds.

I still have a gut feeling Shaq will be better next season (2008/2009) after our docs have a full off season to work their magic on the Big Saguaro!

I bet you felt the same way when Al Gore took on little Georgie Porgie.....LOL

American's do want to end the war but they want to end it on our terms with us coming out as victors. It may have been wrong and a mistake but American's dont run from their mistakes or obligations. American's don't want higher taxes. American's dont trust the Government to run health care...Heck, the Gov screwed up my stimulus check....They screwed up giving money away. How will they do when they try to give everyone free health care... American's want a cleaner environment and free from addition to FORIEGN OIL. Obama tells us all to go buy a new hybrid. American's trust someone who put their life on the line for his country and served it in congress and hte senate. Not some newbie whom wants to sit down with Chavez, The crazy guy from NK and Stinky in Iran without pre-conditions....yet, has not even sat down with Petreaus or had a hearing on Afganistan in his own committee. I think the choice is clear.
