Yep. Songs like "These Boots Are Made For Walking" allowed him to make many quirky yet excellent records through the 60's and 70's that almost no-one heard when initially released. But his career has made a resurgence recently in alternative music circles because the songs are witty, many with very unusual subject matter, and his voice is truly one of a kind.
Jenna, he does an interesting cover of Tom Waits "Days Of Wine And Roses (Martha)" on the 1977 "Poet, Fool Or Bum" record.
Sorry for the hijack..... let's get back to the campaign trail.
