2007 ASFN Presidential Half-Assed Debate #2

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen, and welcome to the 2nd and final round of debates for the Presidency of the Arizona Sports Fans Network.

Before we begin, let’s go over the rules for the event. Due to this taking place over a weekend, the rules will be a little different. I, your host KloD will ask a question and each of the participants will be granted time to respond. When all of the candidates have answered each candidate will be allowed one post in response to his fellow participants, and one post to clarify.

Each round will look like this:

Question posed:

Candidate 1 answers.
Candidate 2 answers.
Candidate 3 answers.
Candidate 4 answers.

All Candidates respond with one post answering the others responses.

All candidates have at their discretion one post in order to clarify their original answer or response.

Next Question…

Each candidate will have a maximum of 3 posts per question.

There will be 3 questions over the debate and the goal is to wrap up no later than the evening of the 24th.

REMINDER: Only candidates will be allowed to post anything other than smileys. If a candidate does not follow the rules, they will be disqualified.

Hi, I'm D-Dogg and if you like beer, football, sex, money and boobs (or abs for the ladies and others so inclined) then I am the candidate you want to vote for.

As an added bonus, I do not have cooties like the other candidates. That's the D-Dogg Difference.

Hello everybody! I am Cardinals.Ken.

I believe the the 3 "B's":

Bullets
Boobs
Beer

I also believe that children are our future! We should teach them well, and let them lead the way. We should show all the beauty they possess inside. You know...give them a sense of pride!

Also, I believe that prostitution should be legal, and it should be covered in health insurance. It's part of my "Make America Health Again" pledge to you, the voter. Another part of that plan would be a Federally mandated rule that for every 2 hours of work, you should get 1 hour to play video games, drink booze, or have sex. That's my idea of breaktime!

As for my opponents, Jay shouldn't be here...he's much too smart for this job and go back to being a super-dad-rocket-scientist.

As for the others, they are Gay lovers. Voting for one means voting for both since they are attached at the hip.

I look forward to the debate, where I will once again smash my competition.

I am extremely impressed with the professionalism of all the moderators here at ASFN. As someone who works at the position of moderator at another board, I know how tireless and thankless the position actually is. I also know that sometimes you have to make hard decisions, and ones that aren't neccessarily the popular one, however here the mods run a fair, but firm ship. For the most part, the posters here all seem to moderate themselves and know which lines to cross and which not, however when issues DO arise, they are taken care of promptly and without fail.

As for Brian In Mesa being re-instated, I say bravo. I've always respected Brian and enjoyed his posts. Although I don't know the details of why he was removed from the position to begin with (I don't ask and usually keep my nose out of things like that), I think that the job he does in that forum is exemplary and it's good to see him back!

Overall, the mods do a terrific job at a thankless task. The calls of "censorship" and "over-moderating" are patently ridiculous. No one from ASFN can "censor" anyone because they are not government. If you want to go spout whatever it is that the ASFN mods don't want on their boards, you can...just not at ASFN.

In the case of BIM and his moderator status, I don't know enough about it to make a proper assessment. I know emotions run high on both sides of that fence, so I won't even guess as to what happened.
