Pretty limited poll choices - but OK, my closest is #3.

Petro-cabalists reap record profits on jacked gas prices and make everyone with a car or a furnace freak out and thus apply pressure to the admin to get prices down so inflation won't spike out of sight and the economy won't tank any worse on the GOP watch, which 'justifies' raping the Alaskan Wilderness and sucking down our STRATEGIC FRICKIN Oil RESERVES to keep the Hummers rolling, not to address a genuine national emergency, AND guarantees the GOP and most re-election-seeking Dem will pass this bill in a panic of voter-brown-nosing...

wait.

wait --

you don't think the Texas White House's Adopt-a-Petro-Pal policy has anything to do with this do you?

I AM just being a paranoid conspiracy theorist... right?

I guess...

But I figured you are either glad, could give a rats ass, or think it is a horrible idea.

So far I'm the only one that 'could give a rats ass'.

When it is one of 2,000, plus access roads, pipelines, airstrips, etc that all cross main migratory pathways, then yes, it is.

But obviously you are one that doesn't care about the environment, just getting more oil.

lol...methinks affording gas wouldn't be much of a worry if you can afford a $50k SUV.

Have each caribou carry a 55-gallon drum.

No pipelines, airstrips needed...heck we'd be creating a new job classification "caribou herder" and protect the environment!

Don't you drive a Nissan Exterra? The one that gets 14 MPG city? Where's your Toyota Echo if you care about the environment so much?

Yes, I do - and if I could afford a new car, I would get one.
