It means that most people will not cross gender lines and race lines at the polls. It takes someone of superior understand and intellect to be able to vote in this country across those lines.
And this country is short on understand and intellect. I personally would vote for Condi or Powell as president. But for everyone of me I know 99 white guys that wouldnt without even look at what their views are.
Same goes for all races. The majority will vote for their people. You put a chinese american up for prez would you be shocked to see 90% of chinese americans vote for him?

I work with several black women and let me tell you that they would string Bush up by the balls right now if they could. Condi would suffer greatly because of her assosciation with the administration.
