And yes any fetus that attaches itself to the fallopian tubes, the cervix, or virtually anywhere other than the uterus is immediately a state that is "harmful to the mother".
I seriously suggest you become more informed on this subject before I continue to make you look very foolish.
my point is, even it is harmful to the mother, that is not the only thing that it is. a woman can't give birth to a chair because "something happened at a cellular level." it is always a person, even if aborations occur. and what of pro-life doctors? are they all as ill-informed as i? or are they just stupid because they don't get things the way you do?

Are you for real? You are one of the most condescending people to hit this board in ages.
i do disagree, but i have never called anyone ignorant. i have never claimed that anyone was humiliated because of my staggering intelligence. you came in here as the absolute authority, telling me to brush up on my biology, because you were gonna make me look dumb. if you can find some place that i had done that (and not in jest), then i will gladly apologize.
this will probably be skipped because it's off the current debate (abortion yes vs abortion no)
I'm going to try and tackle if being against abortion can be balanced with a feminist perspective
I believe it can be.
I believe feminism reflects equal rights, opportunity and self determination. This goes in the workplace, in society, et al
Equal pay for equal work. The social slant on sexual activity and various other male vs female perspectives.
I think a perfectly legitimate feminist point of view is that women should be allowed to debate and have their point of view considered on this and any other topic.
Since feminism can be about the advancement of womens rights. Note that this is ALL women, not just those that agree with your point of view.
What right is more basic than voting, having a say in your government and it's policies and a social issue as important as abortion.
I think it would be plausable that the early feminist leaders fought for women to have a voice in such discussions, regardless of which point of view they support.
Therefore you can be a femanist and support a feminist perspective and still be against abortion

The problem with saying the phrase "All the pro-life doctors", we are again dealing in absolutes in an issue that is all grey.
For instance, I do not favor any abortion after the first trimester. I also favor that teenagers require parental permission before getting an abortion, since abortions can be life and emotionally threatening. I favor a ban on partial birth abortions. I am personally opposed to abortions.
Sounds fairly pro-life. In fact, if you asked me about any of those subjects on it's own, you might feel that I am pro-life.
However, I ultimately must follow the ideal that choices must exist for people in their health care. When they don't, you have women mutilating themselves as they did prior to Roe v Wade.
Actually along this topic of conversation, my true annoyance is for people who are against sexual education in high school, but against abortion as well.

You kept saying things that were incorrect. You can try to turn this on me being "mean to you", but if you wish to avoid being called out on what you are saying, then you should have your facts straight.

I'm with ASFN's radical centrist on this one.
