What does your daily diet look like?
Post what your average day of eating is like. For the people who are knowledgeable regarding nutrition if you see something you have an opinion on please point it our.
6 am- 3 eggs one slice whole wheat toast or potato cooked in olive oil
9 am- 1 apple
12 pm- Chicken breast with veggies
2pm - Fruit and whey protien shake
5pm- Chicken, steak or salmon with veggies
8pm- protien shake (no fruit)
I dont like to eat any fruits after 2pm cause of the sugars, sometimes I sub my apple for a banana as well.

Whey protien is 100% protien extracted from milk. It burns fat and promotes muscle growth. If you are lifting you should be drinking whey. It will help alot with your muscle mass.

Are you trying to lose weight or fat?
If you are trying to lose weight then no, but chances are you will turn out to be just a smaller version of yourself right now. I recomend lifting weights 3 times a week. Each pound of muscle burns 20-30 cal (something like that) so building muscle will burn your fat quicker and make your physice (sp) better.

If I work out - glas of Milk with whey protein first.
Breakfast - Oatmeal with blueberries, 2 eggs, OJ, vitamins
Snack 1 - Whole Wheat bread with natural peanut butter, some almonds, or string cheese
Lunch - lean turkey sandwhich with swiss and spinach leaves, yogurt, string cheese, fruit
Snack 2 - healthy protein bar, maybe some more almonds, or a yogurt, or fruit
Dinner - Brown rice, grilled chicken, spinach leaf salad with balsamic vinegar dressing. Sometimes we do chinese and try to keep it healthy...brown rice and chicken
Snack 3 - Before bed, usually a yogurt or cottage cheese.
My diet is straight from the Ab's Diet book...it's amazing.

Total Rainfall at Chandler Mike's in 2008: 7.55 inches (as of 11/27/08)
Morning- Protein Shake with 1% milk, non-fat cottage cheese, 2 scoops of whey protein powder (44g whey protein), and some type of fruit. I also upon occasion add oats to my shake (about 2 tbls)
Mid Morning- Carb hit (right now they are Cliff bars) 20 oz. water. Animal Pack multivitamin.
Noon- Sandwich (whole grain bread, turkey, spinach, tomato, mustard) No cheese and mayo! Although today I will go to a Bento place that just opened up last week (I will only eat half of the rice) ..... yummy!! 16-32 oz water
Afternoon- Myoplex protein shake (42g whey protein and 26g Carbs)
Evening- Whatever the wife has made or has planned for me to make!! I just control the portions here. 16-32 oz water
Late evening- Protein Shake similar to morning shake, 16 oz. water
Somethings I should be doing- adding Flak seed and Flak seed oil. Wheat germ would also be good.

Should I include weights and cut back on cardio?
I dropped 19 lbs of fat and gained about 5-10 lbs of muscle within the last month and 1/2 this is what I do. I do 30-35 minutes of Cardio every morning. 3 days a week I lift BEFORE I do cardio, reason is that you will warm your body up by lifting so every minute of Cardio is fat burning because you are cutting out the 6 minutes it takes for the body to warm up to start burning fat. If I were you I would cut my Cardio to 30 minutes a day on your lifting days and do your Cardio 45 minutes a day on your other days. If you really want to lose weight fast you need to build muscle and need to do some sort of exercise 30 minutes 6 days a week. I do 7 but some people like a day off.

Another thing, stick with one Cardio machine for a week then switch to the next. example ellipical week 1, swimming week 2, threadmill week 3..etc
If you keep doing the same routine your body will adjust to it and you will not get max results, you need to "shock" your body by doing changing it up.

No... you need protein. For guys that want to gain muscle mass (like me) you have to have a lot of protein. Anywhere from 1-1.5 gram per lbs of body weight. This really depends were you get your info as well. BfL has me at 250g of protein and 250g of Carbs per day for gaining muscle mass.
If you want to make your body efficient at burning calories the more muscle you have the more efficient your body will be at burning calories.
You do not have to get your protein through whey shake supplements but it is the easiest way I have found. 40 to 50g per shake really helps you get to your daily caloric intake for protein calories.

Another thing about cardio is that as you drop weight and get into better shape, your body will become more efficient at burning fat. So, for the same effort, over time, you will burn less.
Since muscle cells burn more calories than fat cells, increasing your muscle at the same time you're dropping fat will keep your body in a fat-burning mode, and increase your metabolism so you're burning more calories, even while sitting at your PC typing away...
You may not drop the pounds as fast, since muscle weighs more than fat, but the inches will still come off.
