I've gone on record as advocating Tequilla as a pain killer that has worked well for me. A bottle a night usually does it!

I still have a gut feeling Shaq will be better next season (2008/2009) after our docs have a full off season to work their magic on the Big Saguaro!

Might just have to work on that. Have been trying wine. Not working as well.

Percosets work good for pain. Right now I take 2 percosets every 4 hours and then 8mm mgs of ibuprofen every 4 hours, two hours after the percos.

Works well.

I'm not sure who would have the weirder dreams. You on percosets, or me on tequilla.

If I took 2 percs, I'd be out like a light. Completely disfunctional. What's a 8mm mgs? 800 maybe?

800 mgs are over the counters now? I remember when 600s were prescription. That's America for you. Can't let a guy smoke a joint for pain, but morphine, demerol, percosets, are all OK! That's some logic by our policy makers!

No. 4 over counter ones equal one rx one.

4 x 200 mg = 800 mgs

almost forgot!

Finally got in to see the specialist on the 28th. This Dr is the ortho for the Phx Suns & Mercury.

Get this....

He said it's not my foot at all. It's my ankle. Thinks I have a torn tendon. Have to get another MRI. If it's torn, he said surgery is probably sooner than later. The rest of the pain I've been having is because I'm not using my foot correctly due to the tendon in my ankle not working properly. Weird, but the MRI will tell for sure.

Will keep you posted.

At least they are trying to get to the bottom of the problem.

Ok, long drive to the MRI office so I get a babysitter who can take my son to school, drive all the way to 79th & Union Hills from New River and I'm 30 minutes early (they require long check in.) I barely tell her my name 7 she says they are running over an hour behind so I'll have to sit & wait.

I was schedule at 1:15 for my diet Doc's follow up all the way in scottsdale. No way can I sit & wait. So................tried to schedule with the Scottsdale ofc, but no go. They finally say my only option is a 7:45 PM appt last night. Yes, I said PM. So....I find out results on Monday the 19th.

I hate holding my foot still that long. Had a major cramp by the time it was over.
