The official weigh-in thread!

There wasn't an october thread for goals, so I am just gonna start a separate thread that deals with weigh in.

If anyone wants to post their weigh-in's that'd be cool.

I weigh in every Monday.

Um, yeah, I slacked off.

October is "Get-Your-Fat-Ass-Back-On-The-Horse" Month.

Well, for me, at least, anyway.

Well, my morning weigh in puts me down 3 lbs from one month ago! September was freaky. I started working, which totally threw off everything that was normal in my life. Both of my kids got sick, I got sick, the house exploded with clothes and papers, I went to multiple birthday parties that included eating out and drinking, ugh... I didn't workout other than chasing after 2&3 year olds 4 days a week at work. All the while, I managed to lose a couple of pounds and my jeans fit a wee bit better. Not sure how that happened! LOL!

Now, on to October! I'm beginning to adjust to working and still being wife, mom, cook, housekeeper... The new LA Fitness by me just opened a few days ago! We signed up months ago at a preview rate. This location has a nice childcare center and is really close to home! I can't wait to take advantage of that!!!!!!!!

My goals for this week (I can't plan for the whole month right now, too overwhelming!): Go to LA Fitness twice!!!!!!!!

Awesome job, Kate! I know you are now feeling discouraged--but we all have bad weeks (and months and years), especially if it is around that time (for me, anyway)! But look at what you've done--you might have slacker times here and there, but if you look back at your posts, you have been one of the most consistent with your exercise and goal setting! I'm proud of you!!!

So, let's just follow Wendy's lead and make this get of your ass month and get back on that harley--I mean horse!

Way to go, CQ--congrats on the loss and the jeans!!!! It just goes to show if you exercise (even if it's chasing 2 & 3 year-olds around) and eat sensibly for the most part--a night out here and there isn't going to kill ya! In fact, I think having those cheat nights makes it easier to stick with the overall plan--imho...

Where are you working? A day care, I'm guessing... I might be blonde, but I'm still quick!

F it. I am starting this crap over.

I kept telling myself I was doing a goob job and I will lose the weight.

Yeah right.

Today starts a more determined me. I know that sounds lame and stupid but I am so F'ing pissed off at myself and my inability to keep with this.

So, I am starting over from here - I know my weight, and I'm gonna take some measurements.

Goal #1 for the week - drink half my body weight in oz's a day.

It is SO on!

Today is the first day of the rest of my life ... or some other crap like that.

Get your diet fixed. Energy levels are primarily dietetically related.

Apparently the common sense wasn't common enough, or you wouldn't have ever had that complaint.

I'd wager you don't even know how/what a proper diet should look like, as most people don't. That's the reason "fad diets [which are neither healthy nor optimal the majority of the time]" exist. This isn't a knock against you, but I'm trying to give advice, and don't like getting something rammed back down my throat.

Your body is telling you something is wrong, now it is up to you to find out (or seek professional help, like a registered dietician). It is better not to complain about a problem, but rather to get on top of it and fix it.
