The Flu
So every year for the past 10 years my mom made me get a flu shot or I would be forced to pay my own way back to Chicago for Chirstmas. This year she finally changed her tune saying that I am a man now and I can decide what I want to do. So here is my logic:
10 years = no episodes of the flu = I don't get the flu and dont need a flu shot
Guess I forgot one little part of the equation.
10 years of getting a flu shot = no episodes of the flu = I would be stupid not to get one again
For the past 4 hours I have been going back and forth between chills and cold sweats....basically what I am saying is that if you have the chance....GET YOUR FLU SHOT. The flu sucks, and I am regretting my decision more every minute.

uh, yeah.
Hey, for the past 20 years I fill up my tank everytime it gets near empty, and I haven't run out of gas yet. Maybe next time I won't fill up.

She said she will have sympathy until I get healthy, but after that the laughing will begin. So I got that going for me....which is nice

so, you feeling better yet? Sorry you were sick for the holiday.
btw, 34 yrs + no flu shot = never had the flu.  I think I'm immune. I should have myself checked out by scientists.

My daughter spent all night Throwing up last night. And she felt fine this morning.......kids. So here I am.....after an all nighter. LOL

It's amazing how quick kids can rebound! Glad she's feeling better. Hope you can get some rest!

It is....it is totally amazing. It's like they only get sick at night. I was kind of hoping she'd still be sick so I could stay home....but she was running around so off she went. |

Cant say I really agree.
I have got a flu shot and got the flu. I have not got the flu shot and not got the flu. So there really is no hard and fast rule.
I say if you are under 5 or over 50 you should probably get it. Same rule as my doctor.
