So ahhh, bad breath????

So I have noticed lately that I have really awful breath...like Math teacher bad. (remember when your math teacher would talk to you and it smelled like someone died?)

So I went to the dentist and they said (thanks to my Oral B 3D) I have some of the most healthy teeth they have ever seen. They said they saw no oral problem causing my bad breath.

What else could it be? My doctor said it is my diet, so I cut out all carbonated products and only drink water and went down to a bland diet...didn't help! Any suggestions? I carry around listerine in a little case and gargle ever hour at work. I don't smoke or anything but it is just disgusting, my wife is a little annoyed too

Have you scraped all of that yuck off of your tongue yet?

Chewing gum may help - like Wrigley's Extra Peppermint.

Do you drink alot of booze?

Do you swim alot? Sometimes the chlorine may infiltrate your system and bad breath may result.

It may be just that you're full of crap.

Wow, I never thought of Ryan as the bad breath type.

I smoke, but I'm very conscious of having bad breath, and I make sure that I always have some sugarless gum.

And yes Ryan, Math teachers always have bad breath...Someone needs to do some research into why, but I would say it has something to do with massive intake of coffee.

Do you drink coffee Ryan? Coffee especially with creme will give you horrendous breath.

Ryan,
I would go to your medical doctor as well. Not to overly worry, but bad breath can also be linked to other medical conditions.
I know that halitosis is chronic among kidney patients.

From the ADA's website:

Bad breath may be the sign of a medical disorder, such as a local infection in the respiratory tract (nose throat, windpipe, lungs), chronic sinusitis, postnasal drip, chronic bronchitis, diabetes, gastrointestinal disturbance, liver or kidney ailment. If your dentist determines that your mouth is healthy, you may be referred to your family doctor or a specialist to determine the cause of bad breath.

Again, not trying to alarm you at all, but you should try to get a full physical.

Are you French?

The singer for my band always has peperoni breath. I feel bad for any kids who try to share the mike with him.

Speaking of math teachers, when I was a freshman I had algebra 1st period. One day my teacher took a short day and left immediately after my class. My friend had that class after me and the sub was a super cute young girl. She didn't have bad breath (she wasn't a real math teacher.) All the guys kept asking for help so she would lean over their book and they were looking down her shirt. Everyone was talking about how hot this girl was and I missed it. As a hormone driven freshman that causes you to like your teacher even less. Why did he come in for only one class, MINE? WHY?!?!?!?!?!

The foamy pee was a short lived experience...maybe I am a bit of a hypochondriac
