this weekend im planning on going Snowboarding @ snowbowl.
here's my health issue
- i had swelling in (L) Knee and (R) ankle. which are not 100% ankle is little stiff. knee is little pain. cant run long distants. both are about 85%
- Small bone fractured in right hand 2.5-3 months ago.
- Little hip problems. feels ok now.
i talked to my brother and he said snowboarding does a toll on your body. now...
Do you need 100% healthy Knee's, ankles and strong/flexable wrists?
thanks

This is a little late, but I am guessing your ankles are killing you today.
Your ankles will be supported pretty well by your boots. You do have to be able to bend your knees to snowboard. And since you are asking these questions I'm guessing it your first time going so healthy wrist's will be important for the 50 times you try to break your fall on this trip.
I would recommend wearing a wrist guard or brace. And have fun. The first half of the day is going to suck but if you stick with it you'll be glad you did.

yeah it is my 1st time... and i'll take those into consideration
My 2 cents, I've done it twice now last time 2 years ago. Definitely stretch, and yes it will hurt your ankles and knee if you already have issues. That's why I haven't done it again I have a right knee that's been operated on twice and after the 2nd time I got concerned I was headed for #3.
The hardest part for me the first time was getting back up after I fell, there's a distinct trick to it getting up without immediately sliding downhill, the way they teach you takes lots of strength and frankly wore out my knees. I was rolling over to do it the "easy way" but that eventually makes your lower back sore instead.
2nd time I had a much better teacher(she actually showed us how to stop BEFORE we went up the hill) and had a lot more fun. I figured out how to get up, but that night I had enough swelling in my knee I decided to not do it anymore.
If I didn't have the knee problems I'd do it again it was a lot of fun and I got a lot better at it the second time, I just decided it wasn't worth it to me to risk another surgery.

Whoa. my GF just called and made reservations @ a hotel..so im going on the trip but still not sure about the ski/boarding part.
I never thought of the getting up part.and getting a instructor...
When i normally get off the groung i favor my knee and right hand..so im just using my left hand and more weight on my right leg...
