Chemo sucks ass. The first time I went through it, I ended up being 6'0 125lbs. I looked like I had been in a refugee camp.

Bad thing about cancer is that the treatment is often times worse than the disease itself.

Wow. I wish I knew what to tell her. I hope she makes the right decision for her & her family. Scary stuff. Thanks Tim.

Set a goal - donate the money you are saving to either your walk, or to the Hurricane victims!!

Don't be lonely...I'm still hangin with ya. Last smoke at 10:30 pm Wednesday night. Feeling pretty good. Had one "fit" yesterday but worked through it. I've been sick in bed for 2 days so that has helped.

You're doing great SWD! Keep it up! I'm proud of you!!!

Oh my gosh! I read the whole thing, looked at the pictures. My daughter came up behind me and said, "WHAT is THAT?" (viewing a picture of a lung with emphysema). I couldn't even answer her because of the lump in my throat. I couldn't say to her, "This is what mommy was doing to herself by smoking."

Thank you SWD. I am definately going to pass this on. Keep the quit!

Survived the holiday weekend. Urges are much less. Worst urge I had was after eating 10 tacos. I loved a good smoke after being full on tobascco and taco's lol

I survived as well. Almost lost it on Sunday afternoon after a tiff with Mr. Man. Was counting change to go get smokes. I got online to the website SWD referred me to & went into a "quit" chat room. They were awesome!

Hence, I am:
Your Quit Date is: 8/31/2005 10:30:00 PM Time Smoke-Free: 5 days, 17 hours, 50 minutes and 7 seconds

Cigarettes NOT smoked: 115 Lifetime Saved: 21 hours Money Saved: $31.50
I have met "buddies" who are also recent quitters. They're great. Plus there are people who quit years ago but comeonline & encourage us newbies. It's really great SWD. Thanks!!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!
