swd makes his chili with bits of real man, so you know it's good.

I thought for sure you'd put it in the microwave and "nuke it"

Only when I am with Jenna do I make her my special 'man chilli' Unfortunately the recipe would get me banned and make her blush.

will there ever be a post on this board that doesn't get taken off topic with the second post?

Sometime try making your chili with small cuts of steak instead of ground beef, its fantastic.

5 star Bullhead Chili

3 pounds cubed sirloin (you can substitute good ground beef)
2 tablespoons oil
4 chopped onions (2 yellow, 2 white is what i use)
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
14 ounce can chicken broth
14 ounce can beef broth
1-8 ounce can tomato sauce
1 14 oz can stewed tomatos (optional)
6 tablespoons Gebhart’s (or other) chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons salt
2 fresh green chili peppers (chopped)
4 fresh jalapeno peppers (diced)

Brown cubed beef in oil . Put in large chili pot and simmer with onion, garlic, and broth 1 ½ hours. Add tomato sauce, spices, and peppers. Add half a beer if you need more liquid and drink the other half. Cook on low heat 1 hour and 15 minutes.

This is my favorite recipe…you can add a couple cans of washed pintos if you prefer (wash the pintos, dont dump the starchy liquid into your chili pot). If you decide to use ground beef you can reduce the cooking time significantly because you dont have to tenderize the meat by cooking it; you can pretty much add all the ingredients to the browned ground beef and heat to a boil, then simmer (add beans last) . For less heat you can remove the seeds from the jalapenos or use Anaheim peppers which are milder. You could also just use 2 jalapenos and 2 Anaheim’s. You’ll have to experiment with your family’s palate. My kids like a dollop of sour cream in their bowl, and we usually serve with corn bread. This is good stuff!
