That sucks....take it easy, and take some Tylenol!

I took 2 Excedrin Migraine earlier today. Can't take more that 2 a day. Tylenol does just nothin' for my headaches. This one was so bad, that 2 Excedrin just took the edge off of the headache, didn't even get rid of it completely. Thanks for thinking of me!

Try Vicodin. I didn't feel a thing all day!

I strongly recommend against taking vicodin unless you absolutely have to. It can be highly addictive(ask Brett Favre) and it has a very uncomfortable side effect in the form of CONSTIPATION. Again ask Favre, during the height of his vicodin problem he once had to be taken to the emergency room by the Packers team doctors to "relieve the pressure" from constipation. he was in such agony he could barely stand up and walk.

I took it 2-3 times after both knee surgeries but my doctor both times was very clear to me don't take it unless you need it and explained the constipation issue, even prescribed other pills to me to help alleviate that (laxatives).

I appreciate your concern, but have no fear, usually my wife has to make me take something just because I have a little ol' headache. (Migrane, whatever...) I'm not really a pill kinda guy...

...but I was kinda passing a kidney stone yesterday. Hurt just a bit so I thought I'd take a little something to help me get through the work day.

That would fall under the "unless you absolutely have to" part of my post.

In that case by all means I hear kidney stones can be brutally painful.

Hope you're feeling better now.

It works for me pain wise, but I can't sleep, and yes without the laxative, they constipated the hell out of me.

They made me feel really warm too for whatever reason.

Yes, though Doc says I've gotta go see the urologist now...

...I think I'd rather deal with the pain.

I split it from the other thread, since this seemed to be a topic of interest and had nothing to do with daily checking in. (ok, so I was having a bit of fun with my new mod powers!)
