Okay get this

Some of you knew I was in AZ last week for my 20 year HS reunion. Well during that week I didn't nothing as far as working out.

Now I know it is good to take a break but yesterday I did my upper body routine and in my chest work out this is what I did

Strength Hammer sitting bench press

12 reps at 180
10 reps at 230
8 reps at 270
6 reps at 300
12 reps at 270 immediately to chest crossover (or whatever the hell they are called).

All that and I still haven't got to the point . I have never ever, ever, ever, ever done 300 before!!! Whoohoo for me!!!

Awesome progress! Keep up the good work. Sometimes rest is extrememly important and can greatly influence strenght numbers. This is especailly true on a program like BFL where you have restricted calories and intense exercise (especially the interval cardio training).

I'll bet you also "cheated" or went off your strict diet while you were visiting too - that will also help the recovery and strength increase.

Rock on!

Good job Portland.

Sounds like your body needed that rest.

300 is a great hurdle to get by isn't it?

Took me forever, but once I did, well, you know the feeling.

BTW- I'm not that far over that right now. Somehow I think 400 will never happen. But I don't care. 300 friggin' rules!

Great job!
