On the right side of my mouth. Hurts like hell. No wonder why babies always cry when they are teething. I need a little rubber frozen doughnut to chew on.
Gotta wait till after the 1st to have anything done. New insurance plan for my dads company or something.

I had some badly impacted teeth as well. And removed them all at the same time. The only saving grace is that you can get some good pills to get you through the pain. And if you can scrimp and save a few of them they are great on bad game days. Just kidding. Let us know when the operation is though.
Had two pulled about 10 years ago - miserable experience. Was supposed to go back and get the other two pulled, but chickened out. Finally, the had to be surgically removed this year.
I had severe impaction, I had them out when I was about 22 or 23. I had these outragious headaches from the pressure of the wisdom teeth pushing against my other teeth. The doctor said I should plan on being out for a while because of the trauma the surgery would have on my mouth. I had the procedure done on a Thursday and I was back at work on Monday. For some reason I have a high tolerence to pain.
My wife had her's out last year and had to go on short term disability from her job because she was in pain for like 2 months.
I got all four out in the same visit. Decided to not go under sedation after knowing that two of my sisters did that and took a lot longer than my other two who didn't.
So I got 8 shots of novocaine, two for each tooth. They gave me nitrous before the shots so that I wouldn't mind the shots so much. I sat in there breathing the nitrous so long it seemed like they had forgotten me. When they gave me the shots of novocaine I had my eyes closed and all I just visualized a pink sheet, and a little purple dot when they would give me the shots. Then you know how they shake your cheek a bit when they give you the shot? I just sat there laughing cause it tickled.
So they took all four teeth out, gave me some kind of prescription for pain medicine but I didn't use it. Just took advil and went out that night with friends. Take the shots route - much much better than going sedation. You'll be all groggy for a day or so and the pain is worse that way.
If you need a good dentist, I have an AWESOME one who'll be opening a new office in NW Peoria. I had one of my wisdom teeth out with him, no biggie at all! He's kind, funny, and very much cares about his patients! (I'm sure you've read me talking about him before!) He comes extremely HIGHLY recommended! I can PM you the info about the opening date of his office once it is known!

Heavy, you need to try using brandy. Take a big slug of it and hold it on your teeth and count to 30 before swallowing it. If it doesn't help right away, repeat as necessary. Eventually the pain will go away.

Hahaha. I turn 21 in a few days... Pretty soon i'll be able to go buy the best medicine myself.

Had mine out on April Fools Day '86. All 4. Not fun, but not the worst pain ever (childbirth). Good drugs & lots of sleep helped.
The worst pain was about 2 weeks later when I was back at NAU in a private voice class & had dry sockets. (don't get those heavy, hurts bad) My voice coach told me to open my mouth more (I was singing for all you pervs out there) and he grabbed my jaw & pulled down. My mouth filled with blood. I told him I wouldn't be back & that if he failed me, I'd press charges for assault.
the top ones can probably be PULLED - the sound when they pop out is not to be forgotten.
The bottom ones they have to CUT out - probably best to go to sleep if they are going to do those.
