Just an update since so many of you have replied:
I'm doing OK. I've returned to work and the distractions have been good. I'm home today with a nasty head cold, but in general my spirits are up and I'm moving forward. I've posted multiple updates on Facebook if any is that interested in the details. Just search for "Matt Self" and hit me up for a friendship if you wish.

I was unaware of your loss. I can not begin to express my sorrow for you. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
I have searched for you on FB. I see quite a few "Matt Self" but only one in the Phoenix network. I am assuming that is you?
