Dry Eyes
What can I do about this?? Don't say Visine...I try that and it doesn't really help.
My eyes burn a lot and are really dry. They seem to get drier with more Visine I put in there.
This is ridiculous. Is there like a magic tea I can drink to lubricate my eyes??
EDIT: This is very important to me. Right below football, maybe above beer. I gotta get this fixed. $25 ASFN for the solver.

Visine is not a lubricant NEZ... It just gets the red out... Try Murine. It's an actual Lubricant.
Secondly - do you wear contacts? Have you had lasik??

There's a version of visine or something similar that's to create tears in your eyes, my mom has the same problem and uses it. I semi have it my eyes get so dry that I will periodically wake up with eyes so irritated people think I have pinkeye. I'm sure it's inherited from my mom although mine's not as bad as hers.
Pretty sure what she takes is prescription but it may be over the counter.

Mrs. NBN here.
You can take emulsified cod liver oil capsules. They have to be emulsified and you can get them at the health food store.
There is another goody you can get at Wal-mart, by the Visine and eye stuff. It is in a little tube and you put the goo in your eyes at night.
You can also do warm soaks. Warm washcloth and warm water. On your eyes. Stimulates the oil.
My mom worked for an eye doctor.
Your welcome
G
Oh, Visine just makes it worse.

Go to an optomotrist... I had that problem and it turned out to be a condition where my tear ducts do not produce enough tears... I have been taking Restasis and it has dramatically improved!!!

When I play rock, paper, scissors, I keep a glass of water in my hand and when my opponent throws down I throw the water in his face and say "Water". Beats all three, scissors can't cut-it, paper dissolves and the rock sinks. Plus it usually surprises the hell out of them.

I have been using Rohto Eye Drops for about 5 years now. Here is a link but you can also get a Walmart and Osco I believe.
