Does anyone else do this?
My sister and I had this conversation the other day. When you are working out, do you try not to breathe as heavy when someone comes by?
Case in point. I'm at the park the other day running. Someone starts coming my way from the opposite direction. As this person approaches, I try not to breathe as heavy so it appears to the person that, hey, this running stuff is a piece of cake for me. (As if!) It doesn't matter if this person is male, female, hot, not hot, whatever. Why do I care what this person thinks?
So, does anyone else do stuff like this?

Nope...... Changing your breathing techniques can lead to cramps and dehydration.
.....Who am I kidding? I do that too.

Good to know. So either I am normal or we are all freaks. Either way works for me.

I wouldn't either if I dressed like this when I ran.

I try not to run on concrete. However, I do run on a track about once per week for some time trials. I must admit that I tend to pick up my pace when I pass someone. I don’t know why. I don’t even realize it, until about 20 seconds later when my heartbeat has jumped up out my target zone.

Jenna, You seriously dated yourself with that. ATiger Beat isn't what it used to be. I wouldn't be surprised if Nasser didn't even know what it was.

Ok...so I wonder what happens when two persons like that are doing exercise by each other. I mean one of them starts on the treadmill and puts a little more speed than the person at the side...so the second guy decides...no way I am letting this guy run fater than me, so he cranks it up a little bit.... then the first guy is again going slower...and so on..... when does it stop?? theres has to be a limit??
