Benching, shoulders, biceps, back, crunches and push-ups...
Oatmeal with blueberries, an egg, vitamin C and a multi-vitamin...

Just a thought but I think you may get better results and more return on your effort and money if you took the Milk with Whey Protein after your workout.

Spent 25 minutes working on the triceps and shoulders yesterday. 5-10 minutes on my legs and stomach. Then I did 30 minutes on the eclyptical machine. I used to run on the treadmill but because of tendinitis in my left knee, I can't do it anymore.
How many lift and do cardio on the same day? I do both on Saturday and Sunday's, but will lift one day during the weekday and do cardio another weekday.

No, I've read that you need something in your system when you workout OR your body could start burning muscles for energy or something...
You need to have something in your system. The first time I worked out last week with no food or anything, I felt really naseous afterwards...

Absolutely. Agree 100%. If that's what you need than by all means.
I'm just suggesting that you take the protein after instead of before. Your body uses carbohydrates for energy, not protein. Think of your muscles as sponges. After you workout they are dying for protein.
To each is own though.
FWIW- We (the Army) do PT 5 days a week first thing in the morning on empty stomachs. I've never liked that, like you I'd rather eat something first but if I did I'd be hurling all over the place. I understand the benefits of exercising in the morning vs. evening though so I get why it's done when it is.

My routine is quite similar with the exception that I rest on Sundays. Getting old. This stuff was so much easier 10 years ago.
I do more cardio (time wise) on the days I don't lift, but I try to get some in on the days I do lift. BRV talked me into that. I'm starting to dislike BRV.

BfL recommends not eating before a morning workout. Specifically cardio because when you wake up your body is still in a 'burn fat' mode. You will extend that mode by after waking up immediately working out.
Somewhere else I was told that lifting is better right before bed because during rest is when your muscles heal best.
I'm screwed on both counts because I am to lazy to get my ass up in the morning to run and my gym is close to work not my house for the evening workouts.

I've read that you shouldn't exercise too close to bed or the added blood flow and energy through your body could give you difficulty sleeping. Dunno.
