Hey,
I swear yesterday I was talking to someone and I was wondering about doing the exact same thing. I wasn't sure how well it would be recieved. Good to see you did it. I completely get your reasoning.
As for me, I haven't stopped. Still working out. Just wasn't sure if the workouts you and I and a few others are doing weren't in fact discouraging some people. That's why I stopped posting them.
As for today, this am, Push-ups, crunches, Rocky sit-ups, obliques, 2.5 mile run in 22 minutes.

Yeah.... by no means do I want people thinking I'm saying "You suck!" But I thought maybe they might get a lil' kick start.
Any who.... we shall soon see.

I've been wondering the exact same thing.
Actually what I WANTED to say (and dear god am I afraid I'm gonna get flamed for this) is about something I've been noticing lately.
First of all, I like Portland mean this motivationally, not meanly....BUT.....I have been noticing a trend from some folks who it APPEARS are trying to find ways of excusing their lack of success.
In other words I see alot of excuses.
Folks, if you want it you gotta work for it. No two ways about it. Hopefully the good that comes out of this is that some of you have now seen that wishing for it isn't gonna make it so.
So let's regroup, re-evaluate our goals AND GET BACK AT IT!!!!
MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!
Pep talks over, I hope that wasn't too harsh.

took a few days off last week for personal reasons, but I'm still here - been totally swamped busy at work. sore from yesterday's upperbody workout. ran 1.5 miles today & did abs. I wanna puke.
ran out of mrp bars. I had a shake for breakfast & don't want another one. maybe might have to go to the supplement store at 10 & pick some more up.
it's all good. jeans are still loose.

Portland & Harley!
Thank you! You're right. Lots of excuses, myself included. Went to the podiatrist Monday & have to wear a night brace for plantar fasciatis. Physical therapy 3 times per weeks starting Monday. However...he didn't say anything about NOT working out or training for the 3-day walk. No excuses...gotta work thru the pain. Although last weekend I totally wimped out & didn't walk. No more!
10a.m. I have an appointment with "The Firm" Dvd, fanny lifter & sculpting stick. Wooo hooooo!
Thank again gents. Now....
MOVE! MOVE! MOVE! (I love that part!)

Done. Did it. Complete. So there! 55 minute maximum cardio burn plus abs...DVD by "The firm. Man, it kicked my butt. Actually my knees...they're killing me! I sound like rice krispies when I work out...snap, crackle, pop! Sucks to be fat & old.
Bitch, bitch, bitch...Smack! Ok, new attitude!
I am a beautiful person inside and will do the work it takes to look healthy and happy. Oh, and live longer.
Thanks Portland & HR for the calling out. As to the ladies...let's git 'er done!

Nice post. I'm a slacker, no doubt about it. I'm also not online all that much. In the past 2 weeks I've hit the treadmill 4 times for 2-3 miles each time. Nothing impressive.

Ok, so does steam cleaning the carpet in my living room and dining room and the couch count? If so, then WOO HOO!!! I did something today! If not, crap.
