Oh, and your appendix can go "bad" where it leaks poisons & such for a long time before it bursts completely, and that can go on for a long time, iirc. I swear I read that somewhere. It will have a small tear or something in it, without having totally ruptured.

I was hospitalized in January 1998, it was removed in May 1998.

I'm thinking it burst or ruptured then. The impact was great on my organs. Holes in both intestines, my stomach, and my colon.

Right. Appendicitis can last awhile before the appendix actually bursts. I was just saying that once that sucker burst you were done for ... I mean ... it had to be removed immediately to prevent gangrene, infections, death, etc.

Wow!! So you had probably had appendicitis for awhile and finally the appendix burst in May. Again, wow! I couldn't imagine. Are you doing okay health-wise today?

I'm fine today.

Back then was another story. I was in boot camp at the time and they called my parents to say you have less than 24 hours to get here, you're son is going to die.

I had a hole in nearly every major organ thanks to the poison from the burst appendix.

My body formed a natural wall around it and it formed as a ball in my stomach area.
