Back spasms
Lately, I have been having these a lot. They suck.
Could these be a result of being rear-ended a few weeks ago? Is there anything I can do about them?
Blah. Hate this.

Go see a chiropractor. They are great and you're in luck because two of my cousins own Backfit Chiro and Rehab with 4 offices in the Phoenix area.......

I'd bet money they are from the car accident, and don't even THINK about settling the medical portion of your claim until you are 100% better, or 100% sure it has nothing to do with the accident.
Go see a chiropractor.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. I understand walking on a treadmill does wonders for your back
I'd see a chiropractor as well - I did many years ago after I was in an accident - it really helped.

Ice your back down. It'll reduce the inflammation. Works for me.
I had a back spasm once that effectively immobilized me for almost 8 hours. That was crazy!

Went to the doctor today. He did not give me any more vicodin or flexirill, which was disappointing, lol. And he did NOT refer me to a chiropractor. But, he seemed genuinely concerned (or, at least as genuinely concerned as a doctor can be) about my situation. He prescribed some new meds and recommended that my husband or boyfriend rub a specific muscle rub on my back. I really liked the guy up until that point, lol.

Did you ask him about going to a chiropractor? Also, was he an MD or a DO? A DO can do dang near everything a chiro can...I SO prefer DOs...

I mentioned it. He kinda rolled his eyes, lol. And, yes, he is a DO.
I prefer DOs, PAs and NPs to MDs.
I wish he would have written me a script for a hot man to come over three times a week and massage my back and other things
