Please tell me how in the world you enjoy running.
Not trying to be a hard ass, but I'm more curious than anything. Are there certain breathing techniques you do? Is it the view?
Also, were you once a non-runner, then worked your way into becoming a runner?
I want to learn how to LIKe running, lol.
Just curious!

I am a runner, it doesnt have to do with the view or me liking to run.
Lets see there this one time when I was on probation drinking a 40 oz, the cops rolled up and we took off between houses. Jumped over a wll iand got into the back alley. The cop car flew around the block and into the alley. So we repeated that process back to the front, grabbed or 40's and took off.
There wa sthis other time I was in a brawl on Mill ave, wasnt so fortunate on this one. In the process of the brawl, I got pepper sprayed, took off running but couldnt see anything. Was eventually caught and put up for the night with a meal in the morning.
There are more times as well. So as you can see I run.

First, it's a personal challenge. In most other sports you are competing against someone else. It is their skill versus your skill. Since there is someone else there, factors come into play that you can't control. Take basketball for instance. You play against a taller person, you're at a disadvantage. With running the only thing that can stop you, is you. You control your stamina. You control your pace. You control everything about it. If you can't finish the 5 miles you set out to run, you cannot blame anyone but yourself. Most people find that answering a personal challenge is quite fulfilling.
Second, running is such a serene activity that it allows you time with yourself. I know that sounds funny but I can't think of a time when I have been more introspective than when I run. You can tune everything else out and just think about life.
I can't speak for anyone else, but these reasons are what make it work for me.

The wind in your face, the feeling of well-being, and the power you feel in your body as you stide step by step through the countryside. I haven't done much running in the last couple of years, but I do remeber the euphoria I'd feel whenever I did.

Had alot of calories to burn that nite too. I think I drank 4 Mad Dog 20/20 orange jubilees.
After they caught me all I keep saying was my eyes burn, wash em out with water. Well that was a stupid thing to ask for. Dam water only made em burn worse.
Well I never liked running until I joined the Army. Then I learned to really like the runner's high. I did learn how to breathe and how to measure my stride.
Now I do the ski machine for around 35-60 minutes every other day depending on how tired I am.
I don't want to sound like a woman, but if I don't work out I start to feel really sluggish, bloated, and unattractive. So I guess you could say I am addicted to not having a beer belly despite being 30.

Yeah I was always 160-180 in the army I got out and got to 190. I got married 3 months ago and I am now 215
I need to pick up running. Last year I was doing 5k in 22 minutes. It was fun we started at the beginning of the summer and 5k was a dream, then at the end of the summer we were running 5-8 miles. Makes you feel so good seeing yourself improve.
I didnt lose a pound though all summer so eat right when you run.
