Thats a tough tendon to cook. Requires hours and hours of low temperature, wet heat cooking method to make it palatable. Sorry to hear it, Pariah, please take care of yourself...

Good luck. Bad one to blow. For future ref, probably need to be careful about the Levaquin class of antibiotics -- they can cause serious tendon damage in large tendons like the Achilles.
