Why isnt Adu on our world cup team?
He's too young, man. One thing many people have learned is that throwing kids into the fire too early (not Manning and Big Ben young, but Adu young) can sometimes ruin their career, unless they have a program like Brazil.
That 1-1 tie, however, was a lifesaver for us. Jamaica's a tough place to visit for a game, and we gave up an unlucky goal. We were VERY fortunate to pick up that 11th hour equalizer. We needed the point from that first qualifying game from the tie.

Im sorry soccer is horrible. The possesion is so elusive. hardly any scoring. then to determine who wins they kick goal shots, ala women world cup a few years ago? Why not just start off kicking goal shots? Just a waste of time IMO.
