USA v El Salvador

Wow, this team was night and day compared to the game in Jamaica. Sure, we were playing at home this time, but man, what a difference! We were so dominant for the ENTIRE game, we could have easily won 10 or 20 to nothing instead of 2-0.

The only beef I had during the game is precisely why we only won 2-0...our guys did not have the technical patience to get a good strike onto the ball, or to lob a good ball into the penalty area. We were so open and so free, yet our guys were trying to rush it. Oh well. MAJOR improvement.

Ching is really making a positive impression on the team and it will be very hard for Arena not to include him in the starting 11 from here on out. Conor Casey on the other hand really didn't do much of anything in the match...I'd like to see him replaced with McBride(or Mathis) against Panama.

Is John O'Brien still injured? That guy really makes his presence known when he plays for the Nat's but I haven't seen him play in awhile.

Were local boys Pablo Mastroeni and Greg Vanney on the roster for the match? I didn't take the time to check.

Subs not used: 18-Kasey Keller, 2-Frankie Hejduk, 3-Greg Vanney, 7-Eddie Lewis.
