I'm sorry I missed the game I was so tempted to leave work early to see it.
So far so good this year. Next game is against Germany in Germany, the Germans didn't look very good yesterday losing 4 - 1 to the Italians (one of our WC opponents).

Germans are no good anymore, too old. however the WC is IN Germany so they will at leats make the final 4. |

Man, oh man, this should be a good game. And it is a game we shall win, if not handily, then at least with a modicum of comfort. I predict either 2-0, 3-1 or, if Germany puts up a good fight, 2-1. That's how confident I am in the U.S., and how skeptical I am of the German team.

The US will be fielding an MLS only team for that game. After Germany's embarassment, I say we get worked 2-0.
With full squads on both sides, I think we're a goal better.

That's not what I head...I heard they were using their European-based players, since they're already over there. Hmm, I could very easily be wrong. I'll check it out.
If we're using all MLS players, then yeah, we probably lose, but I doubt it will be by two. We may even hustle out a draw. Germany just flat-out isn't any good right now.
