Looks like Freddy Adu is going to Odense of the Danish League. The guy needs playing time and Demark isn't a bad league (and the club finished 2nd last season), hopefully it works out for him.

MUN2 will be a free channel on Wednesday on Directv and will broadcast in English. You can also hit the SAP button for English.

You can't blame USSF for this one...
Because the game is in Mexico the FMF own the broadcast rights, they sold it to Telemundo...ESPN tried to buy the English broadcast rights but supposedly Telemundo asked for a ridiculous price.
I was pretty angry myself since Telemundo is owned by NBC and they own the USA Network, NBC Universal etc that they could choose to put the game on. Now we will have to watch it on Mun2 which luckily they are going to make available on a "trial basis" for all cable/satellite providers for game day.

Maybe because we're going to get killed in the game. We'll be lucky to get out of there with a win. We are the better team, but playing in Azteca is a nightmare for any visiting team, whether it be Nigeria or Argentina.

To say we are going to get killed is a bit much. They won 2-1 last time if I remember correctly. This is also perhaps the worst Mexican side in decades. And it absolutely has no bearing on why the game isn't being broadcast on ESPN. English broadcasts in the US suck anyway outside of the HD factor.

They haven't killed us there in years...2-1 in WCQ for '06, 1-0 in WCQ for '02 and 0-0 in WCQ for '98(we were a man down for 2/3 of the match too).
Tim Howard has never lost to Mexico, we've also never lost a game against Mexico in which Donovan has scored (and he is tearing it up right now)...we may not win but we won't get "killed either.
My prediticon 1-1, Donovan scores for the US when his pace shreds their defense but MX equalizes late. As par for the course expect plenty of dives and crying from the Mexicans and their classless fans to act as poor as they usually do regardless of the result.

Impressive goal by us, but outside of that, we're getting dominated. We can't hold the ball at all. Did we learn nothing from playing against Spain and Brazil?

Ching has done NOTHING aside from drawing one foul way outside of a dangerous area. If you aren't going to bring in Altidore how about adding another MF and bringing in Feilhaber?
Clark has been mostly invisible too but he has more positive plays than Ching.

Ching is a liability. It sounds to me that they are not confident in Altidores fitness.
I think he and Felhaber will be in with about 30 min to go.

Well I had the score wrong but...
dives & crying from Mexico CHECK
classless Mexican fans CHECK
at least some things are easy calls.
Brian Ching should never start again for the US National team. I have no problem with him coming off the bench when we have a late lead and they want a forward who can hold the ball and track back on defense but he is ZERO threat to score against a quality opponent.

The score doesn't reflect it, but we were definitely killed by Mexico today. That first goal was definitely a fluke. I expected a loss, but still, it stings when you know we could be so much better with different preparation and player choices on the field.
