I am watching the Rumble In the Jungle right now. I have always loved this fight cause it just shows how much of a bad ass Ali is to take such blow from Foreman

I hope Hoya wins. I really want Trinadad to come back and fight Hoya. I dont know why, I just like Hoya, most dont. I was happy as hell when Hoya systematically took out Vargas after all the crap he talked.

Im putting all my spare cash on hopkins. Take that for what its worth, I have no luck betting lately but Ive never lost on a boxing bet.
If Delahoya won it would be one of the biggest upsets of all time.
(BTW I am betting on Golota too )

Im starting to think I should put a few on oscar. The way he is sounding he is VERY confident that he will outbox Hopkins. He isnt looking for the KO.

Thats the thing. I have seen fights where De La Hoya just boxed the hell out of opponents and either lost or barely won by decesion cause he looked like he wasnt the "Aggressor" when all he did is stick and move

Anyone watch"Next Great Champ"?/........What a weak ass fight. RC should have thrown about 12 left hooks where I was looking at ...but then again its always eaiser to judge when you are not in the ring.

I dont know I love football but when there is a heavyweight tital fight for THE lineage title (not some alphabet belt) The whole world waits for results. Like when Ali fought Forman the whol eworld tuned in.

Used to back in the eighties and maybe early nineties. But it hasent been that way for a long time IMO.
I have become so disgruntled with boxing. To many obvious victories going the wrong way will do that!

Hey when is this trinidad vs Miarga (sp) fight gonna happen? You know the dude who smokes cigarrettes and goes ape sh*t in the ring, throwing caution to the wind.

I was actually talking about the sport itself. When it demands the most from your body and the rush of hitting and being hit back. it is one on one trying to knock the other guy out. When I slip a right and come back and land a crisp left hook I dont think there is a better feeling. Boxing is curupt as hell and the sport is tarnished which sucks. Dont get me wrong I love football, I just dont play it
