WOW!!! I couldn't watch the game, but I looked at the late scores, and I figured a 1-1 draw with West Ham for you guys. A 90th minute winner, huh? WOW!!! Congrats, that's a huge result for you. You now stand ahead of us in the table *grumblegrumble* but it looks like neither of us will be relegated, which is good news. Fulham, though...ugh.

I was following the match online and I had a feeling that the Black Cats would somehow find the winner. They just keep getting those last second goals. I started to get misty-eyed. A great strike by Reid! Incredible!
Looking good for staying up this season.

Seriously it was the NINETY-SIXTH MINUTE!?!?!? How in the heck did it go that long? I mean, was it one of those sustained offensive attacks that the refs refuse to blow the whistle on until the defensive side has cleared the ball?

Ahem...all hail King Kev! WOW, what a display! First half, we have no space on offense and sit back far too much on defense. We concede an early goal. The commentators are saying that we're not playing bad, but that we're playing without confidence. Nicky Butt slots home an excellent shot at the end of the half, and King Kev must have said something right in the dressing room, because WOW!!! Granted, Spurs were playing bad football, but a lot of that had to do with how we were locked in offensively. Excellent, excellent display, and lots of goals to go around. I mean, I could still see a lot of the little errors in the game, but compared to before, we were playing lights-out. Excellent effort, excellent result. Sunderland had best be wary when we play. What's relegation?

Look out for Newcastle...fully on form, and for the 2nd straight game all three strikers scored. Looks like Sunderland's form is pretty good as well. Should be a cracker in two games at St. James. We'll win, of course

Fulham 1-3 Sunderland
First win for Sunderland in London since 2001. The Black Cats are now safe, 10 points clear of relegation after their third successive win and second straight road win.
Fulham are now doomed to the Championship next season.

Yeah, that's a shame. I'd like to see a side with so many Americans remain in the top-flight.

Where did you find that photo? I haven't seen the new away kit posted on the official site.

I love the fact that the two derby rivals, Newcastle and Sunderland, both have the same basic kit only in different colors.
