Setanta and DirecTV

Okay, so under my new deal, I'm supposed to get all the programming for free for several months because I bought the Sunday ticket. Now, I just tried to tune in to Setanta and it's saying I don't have it. I call them up and supposedly it's one of a few double-secret channels that aren't part of a package and that you have to pay for. Can you believe they want almost 15 DOLLARS for ONE CHANNEL? It took all my power not to tell the customer service rep to go shove it. I said 'no thanks' and hung up instead. What a frickin' gyp!

It sucks to pay for one channel, but I've almost done it a few times. Setanta shows a boatload of good soccer games from the BPL, The Championship and other lower divisions plus Champions League etc.

Yep. That's why I don't get it. 15 bucks is ridiculous. But to be fair to Directv, I don't think they are the ones that determine the price point--I think Setanta charges Directv a huge amount of money to offer it.

It's the same price on Dish Network. I can't justify spending that much on one channel.
