Frye is one of the toughest SOBs ever to compete in the sport of MMA. You could hit him 10,000 times in a row and he'd still come back for more. Also, his staredowns are the best in all of sports. Didn't know if you knew this or not, but he actually runs an MMA training school in Tucson.

As for the fight itself, when he knocked Thompson down and didn't follow up immediately, he gave the fight up IMO.

Don Frye is an animal. The guys been around forever. I remember when he was 50 lbs. lighter, and would still roll around with the big boys.

The guy is one of the most fearless beasts I've ever seen walk the face of this earth. True tough guy.

Hate seeing him get pummeled like that. If Thompson didn't throw like a girl, Frye could of suffered serious damage.

No kidding! Thompson is such a wanker. He had about 100 uncontested blows on Frye's head, but he couldn't knock him out. I know that Frye is a severe bad ass and probably the toughest head in the world, but that was ridiculous. I think Frye gave up out of shear annoyance....

BTW - I did not know Frye schooled out of Tucson....
