The portion of the program where the boxes were rising up an down went beyond belief when it was revealed that instead of hydraulics, it was totally people powered.
At first I totally thought that those boxes were run by a computer and I still thought it was amazing. Then towards the end I thought I saw some feet under them and told my wife that I thought that there were people in there. When the popped out and confirmed that, I was just in Awe.
Same goes for the Drum opening. The hours that they must have put in to get those routines down is just unimaginable.
I don't think we will ever see anything like this again. I actually feel sorry for the Brits who have to follow this one. There is no way they can match something of this magnitude.

Oh and that little 9 year old boy that walked in with Yao Ming was totally amazing. Kid pulled himself out of the Rubble from a recent 8.0 earthquake, and then went on to rescue 2 more of his class mates. Twenty out of his thirty classmated died in the quake. Amazing story.

I am done with beach volleyball. I don't care about how they met their husbands. I can't watch a sport where the same thing happens over and over. I am finally tired of the butt shots. I can no longer listen to the stupid announcers.

Also, can we know pay attention to some other olympic athletes besides the beach volleyballers and Michael Phelps? Pleez?

Well, when the same thing is domination, I can watch that all day. The Gold medal match will be more competitive.

You have to switch around all over the place to get the other stuff, but it is there on USA and others. I had a great time watching the fencing chicks, they were awesome. Also the badmitten was cool, and I've been trying to catch a bunch of boxing too. But overall, NBC is going to show you 4 things: May-Walsh, Redeem Team, Shawn Johnson and The Greatest Olympian of All Time.
