This is shocking, if true. Now Jose is free to become coach of the U.S. national team.

Mourinho reportedly quits Chelsea

BBC Radio 5live football correspondent Jonathan Legard has reported that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has quit the club.

Chelsea has made no official announcement yet and more news is certain to follow.

The outspoken Portuguese coach led Chelsea to consecutive Premier League titles in 2005 and 2006 after winning the UEFA Cup and Champions League titles with FC Porto.

Pressure has been mounting on Mourinho after failing to win the UEFA Champions League and an indifferent start to this season's Premiership campaign. On Tuesday, Chelsea was held to a 1-1 draw by Norwegian club Rosenborg Trondheim.

I know a lot of people can't stand him, but he's the most entertaining manager that I've seen. I hope he resurfaces somewhere where I can watch him.

In addition to being entertaining, I think he's a great manager.
