MLS All-Stars beat Chelsea!
This was a huge upset here. The MLS played really well. De Rosario scored their only goal as they won 1-0. Freddie Adu and Albright played well too. It was a great game. Who else watched it?

Wow, maybe it was like a fake game where the MLS was supposed to win.

Something like that. I don't think it's possible for the MLS to beat Chelsea straight up, maybe Chelsea wasn't playing and of their starters. Chelsea could beat 95%-100% of the international squads so I don't see how the MLS could beat them.

Oh they were trying. Especially when the MLS had the lead with 26-30 minutes left. It was great. Even if you take a bunch of players away from them they still have a great team with Ballack, the guy from Ukraine who's said to be maybe the best striker in the world, the future captain of the English team and some other good international players that i've even heard of. They were missing a couple of guys but that's still a $200 million team. The MLS All-Stars were missing Donovan, Dempsey, Pope and a couple others I think. From watching the game I'm pretty sure that they were trying. Maybe they were a little off since it's a preseason game for them with some new faces but they were still huge favorites.
Too bad De Rosario is Canadian. The US could use a guy like him on the national team.

Chelsea was trying and played most of their regulars(Ballack, Shevchenko, Essien, Terry, Cole, Robben, Geremi, Vieira all played) but MLS is in mid-season form and fitness and Chelsea is still in preseason training--second half fitness was the deciding factor IMO. Once all those new mix of players get used to playing with each other get in game shape and used they are going to be difficult to beat.
The MLS goalkeepers played very well...other players who impressed me were Jacqua, Gross and Gomez.

The MLS All-Stars looked great yesterday, I didnt think they were going to be able to take Chelsea. It was nice to see the kind of moves Freddy Adu can pull off on a pretty tough defense. That bodes well for the future of US Soccer. Even though they weren't at quite at 100%, they're still Chelsea, and its still impressive for a team like the MLS All-Stars to beat them.
