Last Test - Ashes
Can England beat Austrilia for the Ashes?
It has been a good test thus far but I think that the crooks will some how retain the Ashes...
What do you all think? I am starting to understand this Cricket stuff...

I lived in Jesmond (West Jesmond) when I first moved to the country but found it so expensive so we moved to/near Durham.
I never watched cricket before coming over here but I am starting to like it. I think that you are right, most Americans don't get it or even know it really exists ( I think ).
I haven't played yet but I just got invited to train with an Aussie guy. He can bowl pretty good and thinks that a baseball player couldn't hit it. He might be right. I will let you know...
BTW - You said your office is near Quay Side. Nice area....

Darn right we don't get it! It's a nonsensical game (at least unless someone can actually explain it). My buddies and I in the Army would literally, LITERALLY, sit for hours in Germany in bars and watch it on TV w/out commentary. AND THEY NEVER DID ANYTHING THAT MADE SENSE!!!. At least in baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, etc, some things make sense. Cricket...nada.

It makes sense! Just not good sense. One day you should sit down with someone that knows the game in and out.
