I'm glad I didn't make any predictions. The US looked outclassed for most of the game, I thought they would put up more of a fight but they never really tested James at all.

I'm not sure I have ever seen the US play that bad. They were so poor it made me ashamed to watch. Johnson and Wolff shouldn't have been playing. I hope I never see Josh in a USA shirt again.

I guess they are saving Donovan for Argentina but would have been nice to see him play.

I'm so mad right now, just need to calm down.

Donovan was out with a groin injury.

Johnson and Wolfley need not suit up for the national team again. We have seen plenty of them and they are not quality. I would start Adu in every national game henceforth until someone better appears. I would play with 1 forward as we have none so no sense in playing 2.

Heyduk (sp?) was by far our worse player. I counted 6 times he touched the ball and turned it over. One on the sideline all alone and he dribbled it out.

All the players just dribble towards each other it was awful and embarassing to watch.

We have a 1st class keper
A second class defense
A third class midfield
A fifth class in forwards

2 years in not enough time to get this team to be even remotely competative in the World Cup.

I was so disgusted by this lack of play, this poorly coached and selected team, that I'm beside myself. If we don't play better than this by a LOT in the coming few friendlies, our coach needs sacked. I never wanted him in the first place.

poor game all round i think. very dissapointed with the US given that you are mid season and it was a reasonably big game for you at the new wembley etc...

i think both teams were just going through the motions a bit to be honest... long hard season over here and lond way to come for a meaningless game for you guys.

happy to win of course but i dont think our new manager would have learner too much about his team with tests like that.

some what disagree...

granted we were horid in this matchup.. but i think the starting 11 will have Jozy and landy cakes in the starting 11 with Freddie, dempsey, bradley and beasley in the midfield we SHOULD be ok...

hopefully spector recovers ok because our defense is looking almost as bad as our strikers.....

we are a second tier team.. and everyone wants to believe that we are top tier.... not happening in 2 yrs let alone 6 yrs... if we get out of the group and make it to the quarters that is a realistic goal for this team in 2 yrs...

Second tier yet in the quarters? Being in the quarters mean you are among the top 8 teams in the world....I don't buy that. I agree we are second tier but to me that means somewhere in the mid teens to low 20's, if we reach the quarters it will be exceeding expectations by a lot. We should just hope we get out of the group and get a favorable match up in the next round.

Right now this team frightens nobody. They are weak up top and just not very well coached tactically and I kind of agree with SWD we don't have enough time to change that. Looks like 2014 is when we might have that chance to be a worthy top 10 world soccer power.
