I just picked up my Beckham jersey at Sports Authority in Phoenix. I never thought I would ever see an MLS jersey at Sports Authority in Phoenix. What a GREAT day! Go Galaxy! Get back in the playoff race!

It may be a little overstated, but today is a very good day for soccer in this country. Beckham may not help the Galaxy make a huge turnaround, but there will be a lot more attention paid to the MLS. This is probably the most historic thing that has happened to the league. We'll have to see if it pays off.

What Sports Authority did you go to? I went to the one in Tempe on Elliot and 56th st. and didn't see any.....of course I was just casually browsing and not specifically looking for a Beckham jersey.
BTW, A few years back (about 4 or 5), I remember struggling to find ANYTHING LA Galaxy related at ANY store IN Los Angeles. The only way we could buy any official stuff was at the games.

I bought mine at the store in Avondale at the I-10 and the 101. They were in the front of the store, along with t-shirts. I bought the blue one and I'm ordering a Donovan jersey in the white.

I knew that ESPN's coverage was going to be nuts, but this is worse than I thought. They need to quit cutting away from an entertaining game in order to talk with celebrities. Does anybody really care what Jennifer Love Hewett thinks about soccer?

Paris Hilton fans probably care, and that's who they want to get interested in the game. So they're just pandering to the audience.
