Barcelona

Well I am in Barcelona today and was able to go to the FC Barca museum and get a tour of the stadium....just awesome. During the stadium tour you are right on pitch level in front of the benches.

I took a nice picture of the recent Champions League trophy that I will post when I get back.

Now I want to come back to watch a match.

That sounds awesome! Barcelona has a great team. I wish I could watch some of their games but they aren't on TV here. I did hear that they play the New York Red Bulls sometime this year though?

If you have DirecTV they show a lot of Barca's games on channel 614, which is gol tv.

Very cool that you got to tour the museum and the Camp Nou, Zeno. The Blaugrana are my favorite club team. Going to a game at Camp Nou is on my check list of things to do before I die.

I am guessing that this is the same stadium from the '88 Olympics? I was in Barcelona when they were preparing for the games and thought the stadium looked awesome.

FC Barcelona plays at Camp Nou with a seating capacity of almost 100 000, local rivals Espanyol play at the Estadio Olimpico of 92 (seating capacity around 56 000) on Montjuic, overlooking the city of Barcelona.
