Colin Cowherd was talking about that this morning. Hilarious! Even Mongolia, Vietnam and Togo have won at least one medal.

Canada doesn't really have a summer. It is like pre-winter or off season winter or something.

There are only 33 million people in Canada, it is a pretty small country, where most athletes participate in winter games.

on the topic of medals - how come the US tally gold is so poor this time?

GB have 15 golds to US's 25. Which give the sizes and number of people entered (US have over twice as many) it means we are doing well or you are doing not.

on a good note for you - you have loads of silver and bronzes so looks like you missed out on a few.

not so good - take out Phelps and you suck

mid 30's is about average for us. We have missed out closely on a few medals. And the races Phelps won are primarily ones that the U.S. has always won.

15 is a huge number for GB - they won 9 in 2004, 11 in 2000, and 1 in 1996

Cycling - 8
Rowing - 2
Sailing - 3
Swimming - 2
Track - 1
