Sure the guy has made his share of mistakes... But it's the Cardinals... I mean... come on... It would be one thing if he was floundering on a franchise that actually tried to win every year and spent their cap allotment on that goal...

Michael Pittman didn't seem to do so bad once he left Arizona...

By the way... Did you guys realize that you replaced Plummer with Jeff Blake? You know... The guy who couldn't beat out Gus Ferrott and Jon Kitna for a job in Cinci...

If that doesn't underline my point about being on a team that doesn't care about winning, I don't know what does...

I think you got him flustered Section.

Blake left Cinci '99

Kitna didn't arrive untill '01
Frerotte in '02

How would he compete with them for a job?

And I don't think you guys are ones to criticize anyone for playing for pride in December, when you guys aren't even bothering with that kind of effort...

yeah Pittman was dominant all year last year, what'd he get 1800 yards rushing?

He had a good game in the Superbowl, and had very little to do with the team getting there.

The one mistake being made on this thread is the first quarter INT comments, jake had only 16 as a Card. Not any of his doing of course the coaches were so terrified of Jake that they simply didn't let him take risks in the first quarter, that's why he averaged 6 YPA in the first quarter and had 9 TD passes in the first in his career.

THis year they'll have a QB who doesn't terrify them, so they can actually run an NFL offense in the first and score now and then.

The one amazing thing about his first quarter picks is Jake had 6 of them LAST year, so the guy has 10 in his first 5 years, and 6 in year 6, wouldn't you expect the number to be going DOWN and not UP?

I am as happy as you are that Jake is in Denver. For two reasons:

1. I hate the Broncos.

2. He is gone from the Cards.

Now run along and come back after Jake goes 12 for 45, 150 yards with 4 int's and 3 fumbles in the Season Opener.

Micheal Pittman was a complete bust in Tampa Bay you dolt.

That is unless you consider 718 yards and 1 TD a success????

Oh and his smashing 3.5 YPC exposed what a great talent he is.

Look stat boy....go check them before you make yourself look like a moron.

Plummer will be gone by week 8 as your starting QB and Beurlein will come in and your team will be fine.

The Fake was allowed to make mistakes here that won't be tolerated in Denver.

What does arm strength, the ability to read more than half the field, and the willingness to break down film and study have to do with anyone else?

Tell me he has a strong arm. C'mon...

Taco - if you have the Carolina tape, care to describe the remarkable play Plummer made in the fourth quarter? Just generally --

if you have seen that tape, you will know exactly what I am talking about

I ask because I call Bullchit as well

Not sure what that means... Either way, I've seen enough from the tapes to realize that part of the problem was the jersey he was wearing...

Are you really just going to change the subject when you're pegged?

That's not very sporting.
