lol...true herpes isn't a killer....but it certainly is a life altering experience in a negative way!
Having a chick tell you she has herpes certainly has to rank in the 3 of turnoffs!
I think something like 1 in 3 people between 18-30 in the U.S. have herpes these days so odds are you're going to nail a chick with it at one point in your life without knowing anyways.
EDIT - If you're sexually active that is.

Thats about the sum of it.
The number of people that have is really quite frightening. It is the single biggest STD going. When you have unprotected sex there has to be some level of assumed risk in todays world.
If Vick is forced to pay anything I will be shocked!

Well that makes ok then I suppose. As long as everyone else is doing it kinda philosophy.
Guess I'll go shoot up a high school, hell, everyone else is.

Nobody said its right. Thats just the way of the world. You as a sexually active young male need to assume some level of reponsability if you are being sexually active. Especially if your doing it without protection.

And he has no responsibilty to tell her he as herpes? Thats neglance. But I guess its ok since 1 out of 3 Americans have it. Hell lets all get it so we wont have to worry about that std.

Your sarcasm is just shining through today huh?
I didnt say he didnt have a responsability to tell her. But the simple fact is this:
How many young single men who have the opportunity to bang a youg fine azz chick are going to pass that up? Not many in my estimation. Most will know that the disclosure would thwart the opportunity to get laid and thus keep it a secret.
Same goes for a young woman who has the hots for a guy like vick(rich/famous) do you think they would tell if it was vice versa? Most probably wouldnt.
The key here is to always use protection!

Of course he has a moral responsibility to tell her he has it (I'm not a lawyer so I don't know if there's a legal responsibility). But she also has a responsibility in this day and age to use protection if she doesn't want to get an STD.
Trust me, I think it's f-ed up to have a STD and not tell sexual partners about it. I know a handful of people with STDs (non-fatal thankfully) who have gotten something because they had sexual encounter with a diseased person who did not tell them. Yeah, they're a bit resentful of the person, but in the end they also realize that if you're going to play with fire, sometimes you're going to get burned.
The truth is that STD's are difficult to litigate in court - because alot of the burden comes down to proof. Proof that vick does indeed have herpes...that the female only had one partner...etc.
As a result, many plaintiffs are forced to accept out-of-court settlements so no precedent can't be established...including the finacial terms.
Example - Robin Williams got hit with a $6 million herpes claim by a cocktail waitress, but paid her a settlement in 1992; the amount was never disclosed.

Sorry but for 6 million bucks I would gladly contract herpes.
