Throwing down the Challenge
Here it is. Come talk junk to me. If I'm left speechless, I'll bring you a beer to Sportsman's Park. You call it. My word is good.
Bring the junk talking, I've only got a month to get ready for the Season and Steeler fan.

I'd take you up on it, but then I'd have to think and that is something I'm trying to stop doing for the time being.
Bad timing bro.

If this doesn't leave you speechless I don't know what will:
I know a guy that doesn't like beer.

I guess I’ll have to kick things off…..
This one goes out to Suns fan. The whiniest group I know. You’d swear you were sitting in a Corona del Sol Pep Assembly, as spoiled as these fans are. You guys get the majority of the calls when your backs are up against the wall, but still manage to whine about the 2 or 3 a game you don’t get??
That’s not even the beef though. The beef is that your golden boy keeps winning awards he doesn’t deserve. He’s not the best player, he’s just the player that is best for the game. Sad to see a league sink so far that they have to resort to this.
He’s the most visible player on a team, that plays an exciting, yet meaningless style; that the NBA so desperately wants to exploit. Maybe the reason we are the only ones that play this style is because it doesn’t win championships. That IS what it is all about…not being on National TV a bunch.
Nash isn’t all hip hopped out. He has that going for him. I remember a couple years ago, the league reaching out to the urban crowd, what happened there?? Why do a 180 and try to market Garth?? Party on Wayne. Also, he is international, but he is not so international that Americans can’t get with him. Congratulations, you are winning an award for something you never work at, being Canadian.
If we were giving the award to the Most Valuable Player, it’s gotta go Kobe….the Lakers just win like 5 games without him. But, no, he’s got a bad image. Next. What about LeBron?? He’s outstanding. Too early to ride that pony though. Plus, once you give him his first, just leave it there for the next 15 years.
Good job Suns fans, your marquee player is just a puppet, for Stern’s silly attempt to revive his once proud organization.

You are becoming a very good Laker fan. I'm proud. *tear*
"But Nash makes everybody better!!!!"
Funny how he didn't make anyone any better until he started playing in the loose and freewheeling D'Antoni system...nah, that couldn't be it. Congratulations D'Antoni, you've just earned yourself an MVP award...only catch is that Nash will have to accept it on your behalf.

nice cut and paste job. who'd you steal that merit-less diatribe from?
you've admitted that you haven't followed the suns since the late 80's, when their ticket office so clearly stole your pure-of-heart innocence towards the suns and basketball as a whole. the suns, to the horror of everyone in the basketball nation (nay, the basketball world!), charged more for their good seats! oh, how the knife in your back did sting!
and so, as is the case with more expensive things, rich *******s bought the good tickets. they then proceeded to act rich and *******'y about them. clearly (at least to you), this was the suns' players fault. the only appropriate move was to give up on your team, for isn't that what a true fan does when he doesn't like the people who sit in the seats that surround him? don't worry, even sidney carton could not fault you for your noble decision.
flash forward: it is now over a decade later and you're feeling like the philip nolan of the sports world, stuck in sports limbo. with the cardinals season so close you can taste it, you begin to feel antsy, ready for a team to support, but especially for one you can fight for (for the record, this is the part of the story i respect). along come d-dogg and his beautiful wife abomb. they're a lovely couple, easy to get along with, so you befriend them. soon you begin to hear them speak of a team, a team so hated and reviled that they as a couple were the lone beacons of light for this team in almost all the asfn land! you (needing a new bandwagon) perk up at this thought. not only does this serve your purpose of a team that you can fight for, but they are the direct nemesis of the team who stole your wide-eyed innocence for the sports world! they must be brought down!
so, you bought a season ticket for the bandwagon and never looked back. you dutifully studied your lakers talking points and have cut and paste them here, looking for a fight.
well, the joke's on you, buddy. tomorrow you're going to wake up next to kobe, not really remembering what happened last night, but being pretty sure it was his idea, not yours. and you'll feel dirty. really, truly dirty. no amount of scalding showers and baggy sweatshirts will take away your feeling of violation.
congratulations, nez, you're now a lakers fan.

See this is what I never understood; how can you be bandwagon when a team limps to the 7th seed and loses in the first round? Walk down any valley-area street and look for the Nash and Amare jerseys and you'll find yourself bandwagon fans. I love how (then) AWA was selling out during the Starbury era.

Because she knows, as does everyone else, that the team is on the uptick.

It's nice that you guys are thinking about us, because we really don't think about you at all.
Sincerely,
The Los Angeles Lakers organization

Ironic...talking about stealing. I'm not the Suns, I don't steal players like Jim Jackson and Tim Thomas. Anyways, I should have expected a response like that....I AM talking to Suns fan. They have as much originality as they have championship banners.

4 years or 20 years.....it doesn't matter when you've only been a fan for 25 games or so. Back in the 80's, they were still playing in the Madhouse. You remember the Madhouse....a place where cheering was allowed, and good times were had.

I have no problem with the price hike. It was inevitable. They had to pay for the Video Games and Laser Lights......that oh so entertain the Idiot, 30 Second Attention Span, Fan. I guess we need to get on page on what a good seat is. To me, a good seat is not sitting at the Bar at the Bush Company, watching the Suns cheat their way through another Game 7.....while half my friends are at the stage with dollar bills in their mouths....and the other half are in some dark corner flirting with Meth Addicts.

Please, of course the players don't care...I'd never do that. Players want out of here ASAP. Just ask Barkley, McDyess and Tim Thomas.

The first 5 rows of Suns games has become a convention for Star Trek/D&D geeks.....of course I bailed. Sorry, I use my male reproductive organ from time to time.

With my ASU education...even I know a decade is 10 years. Time sure does fly when you are 14.

I readily admit that I am bored to tears during the NFL offseason. Even when I was an NBA fan, it never replaced that void in my heart. No matter what the NBA tries, they'll never touch the NFL.

My seat location in the new stadium should let everybody know that I'm not on any Cards bandwagon. Actually, sickeningly......I almost like the pain.
