Thank You for letting us have Terrell Suggs

Just a note of gratitude from us here in Baltimore. Suggs has only played on passing downs so far, and he's still had quite an impact (4 sacks in 4 games). Even though the Ravens are stocked with linebackers, he's turned out to be a nice fit.

Anyway, I know that he could've been a Cardinal, and I just wanted to let you guys know how much we appreciate the Cards trading down.

BTW, the Ravens say that this is the week where Suggs will start to get in on non-passing downs.

I can't speak for the rest of the Cards fans but I would hope that you have extended your thanks to all the other teams in the NFL as well. Of course there are the 9 teams or so who passed on Suggs who picked 1 thru 9. Just don't forget the other teams who could have traded up into the top 9 to grab Suggs.

I'm wondering if you received thanks from the Seahawks for the Ravens passing on Trufant. Or the .... for passing on .... I'm just trying to figure out what brought on this charitable thought from your end.

Since you were so kind in your initial post I thought I would recipricate with a thank you for passing on Boldin. The Cards organization and fans truly thank you for this act of generousity and kindness. As your team has obvious needs in the WR position and yet your team let this quality talent slip by, well what else can we say but thanks, you guys are the best.

Hey Purp. There's a smack talk board on this site ready-made for trolls from enemy camps looking to pick fights.

Hey that would be good we've been looking for an undersized can't play the run tweener so that Clement can finally block someone!

Seriously if they have Suggs in on run downs I would hope he gets a steady helping of Shipp running right behind Big and Clement, maybe we can play them into shape.

Discovered that, although his team won the game, he still lives in Gonorrheaville, aka Baltimore.

It doesn't matter - if the Cards had drafted him, he would have signed late, missed all of pre-season, probably been injured during the first game and now rotting away on IR collecting his check and sitting in the pool "recuperating"...

I dont know if you have actually watched all the Cowboys games this season, but Newman hasn’t been touched at all. He might have been burnt on some 5 yard routes, but nothing deeper. He is the closest thing to Deion that we have had since....well...Deion.

As for Suggs...I’m not about to hate on the Cards for not taking him. The man had a miserable time after ASU. He should have been a top 3 pick, but for whatever reason, he choked during the post-season camps. He gained weight, lost speed and dropped about 5 slots. That said, he is awesome…the Cards aren’t the only team that missed on him.

20/20 is always great vision, but Suggs had some serious question marks going into the draft.

I watch ALL the games. Like I said IM THE BIGGEST COWBOY FAN EVER. But I know Newmans AWESOME, but Imagine Suggs as our LB or DE. We'd be unastopable! But If it was a dream world we'd have em both.

We are 4-1Phill.

Suggs can stay in B-More.

Newman has taken away half the field for Dallas. I see coaches trying to test him, but it doesnt work. Much like Deion, he isnt physical, but dude can react better than anyone in the NFL.

And if they do catch the ball...meet Williams and Woodson.

I don't think Suggs would have worked out being anything but a blitzing OLB in a 3-4. Glad to see him doing good somewhere - he's about the only celebrity to come out of Chandler.

Cowboys D is pretty scary this year. They've had two great drafts in a row. They might not get into or far into the playoffs but they've got the blueprint for another dynasty (and that pisses me off!)
