Maybe it wasn't all Jakes fault!!!

Jake may not be great but it was never his fault that the Cards suck.

They just suck.

Now he's on a good team and they are really good. Is it because of Jake....

NO

But he did play very well before getting the concussion. And for all those that hoped Buerlien would step in and take Jakes job. He looked very average in yesterdays relief of Jake.

It's tough to win when your team runs for over 200 yards a game!

This is true.

I watched every game Jake ever played for ASU and the Cards. When he was at ASU he always had a good running game. If you look at the Rose Bowl season many of the games he threw for less than 200 yards.

If Jake has success in Denver it will be to throw 15 - 20 times a game and make big time fourth quarter drives.

The Cards have never had a good running game or any other type of game for that matter.

Last year I said goodbye to the Cardinals. Since that day food tastes better, the air smells better, making love to my wife feels better, basically the dark cloud that followed me around as a Cardinals fan has disappeared.

he never raised his game to the next level or the game of the teammates around him. He is nothing but a supporting cast player.

Then you were never a Cardinal fan. You are a Plummer fan.

Go post on the Broncos board from now on.

That's all Elway was in his waning days. That's all we need in this offense... A quarterback who can take advantage of what the offensive line and running game provide them, and on occasion make plays with his feet when needed.

Jake has still got a long way to go in this offense... We're still beating the Arizona out of him. But he'll do alright.

When you make love to your wife, is it Plummer's face that you see?

Apparently, that's fresh smack here, huh?

Well, for scripted smack, that is...

[script]
IF {User show support.for.Jake}
Then {Print to screen = "When you make love to your wife, is it Plummer's face that you see?"}
ELSE {Continue crying in beer}

Thank you Captain Obivious.

Of course it wasn't ALL Jake's fault.

But after the last few years it was obivious we wasn't part of the solution.

Jake....

To be part of a solution, you have to actually have a solution in place.

How much money below the cap are you guys? That's the first place to look for a solution.

Whatever.

Taco John, the Cardinals expert I'm sure.

After 6 years it was time to move on.

Move on to what?

Moving on just for the sake of moving on isn't legit if there is no plan to move on to.

It's no fault of your own, except for the fact that you support and commit yourself to a franchise that doesn't give you that same level of support and committment.
