I can. The Packers suck. Favre is over the hill and the rest of the team are tottering on the precipice. Cards will beat them by at least 2 touchdowns.

Okay - now that's the funniest thing i've read this week.

I don't buy that whole "I can't hate a team cause such-and-such is such a great athlete".
You come into my stadium wearing enemy colors - you're the enemy. Put up all the pretty numbers you want against every other team - I want to see you getting fisted when you're playing against my team.

Hey 40 Year - do you honestly believe this - or just saying it because we are in the Smack forum?

Green Bay got corn-punched in their own house by the Falcons for God's sake! Their window to get back into the Super Bowl didn't just close...it was slammed shut!

The Packers had more injuries going into December last season than the Cardinals had and ran out of gas and bodies. They should be a playoff team this year, but probably not strong enough to be a Super Bowl team in my opinion. But their window of opportunity isn't slammed shut. They have 21 of the 22 starters signed through 2004. They will have more salary cap room next year to sign free agents when Freeman's salary is finally off the books next year. And except for Favre and Henderson on offense, and Joe Johnson and Brown on defense, the Packers are actually a pretty young team with some up and coming talent. Some of their best players like KGB and Ahman Green are only in their early to mid 20s. I say if Favre sticks around next year to take another crack at the Super Bowl, they have a legit shot at a Super Bowl in 2004 after some of their young talent like the wide receivers and new linebackers develop some more.

Are you sure about that? Or are you just assuming that?

I'm sure about it. I read it in an article somewhere. The Cardinals passed the Packers in games missed due to injuries during the month of December, but going into December Green Bay had more injuries during the season up to that point. I think Seattle had the most going into December. I'm not sure what the final totals turned out to be to end the season.
