As much as we spoke about sports and the Giants, we never discussed Games 6 or 7 of the 2002 World Series. Never.

He's the most knowledgeable beat writer that covers the 49ers.

Niners sign Bear Pascoe to four-year deal
Quote:
Paraag Marathe must have a big vacation planned for mid-July. The 49ers' chief negotiator just signed another draft pick, sixth rounder Bear Pascoe, to a four-year deal. Pascoe, a prolific pass catcher at Fresno State, will step into the role of blocking tight end this season.

Now go sign Crabtree!

Ohhhh, you signed a draft pick!
Roll out the red carpet!

I've said it before, I'll say it again.
Who cares!

He’s the fourth 2009 draft picks to sign with the Niners, far and away the most of any NFL team this year.

Agreed, who cares? That's not going to help much when the Cardinals put a hurtin' on the Whiners in week 1.

The response has been unbelievable. Believe me, I read every syllable of every comment - some comments I read three or four times. I also read everything written on Facebook, Twitter, personal email, the cards I've already received and a thread devoted to the topic at 49erswebzone.com, too.

I think matt is a memeber at 49erswebzone.com but i'm not sure.

Smith tried to find Morgan down the field again during skelly drills, but completed the pass instead to free safety Dashon Goldson. As Morgan ran a vertical route down the right hasmarks, the ball was intercepted by Goldson 35 yards down the field. It was Goldson’s third interception of the offseason.
I hope Goldson stays healthy.

Brandon Jones continued to show his play-making ability during OTAs. The free agent addition was the recipient of an over the middle pass from Hill on a dig route for a 20-yard gain.

Quote:
But the play of the day went to Shaun Hill and Josh Morgan, who hooked up on a deep touchdown pass at the expense of Bly. Morgan made a double-move on the newest 49ers defensive back and hauled in Hill’s pass by his fingertips 35 yards down the field and proceeded to run down the sideline. The catch was reminiscent of his 31-yard touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football last season.

We really don't need to know that Alex "the Bust" Smith threw an Int during traing. That's going to be taken for granted.

We also know that Hill is great with short passes. Nothing new there either.

We'll find out right away what kind of arm Hill has in week one. That is, if he's not too busy running away from unblocked defenders.

He was overrated before he started to decline.
