I believe there are a number of overlaps and even duplicates. All the Baptists I know are born-again christians ... so are many of many of the Pentecostal and Assembly of God churches. I also know some relatives who are born-again christians who go to Lutheran, Presbyterian, United Methodist and Roman Catholic Churches.

My beliefs are close to Hinduism, but not at the same time.

I'm thinking of attending a church called The Self-Realization Fellowship. Close to Hinduism, but they believe in many different avatars (or holy men) who are close to "God" (Jesus is one of the avatars).

I was raised as a Southern Baptist/Presbyterian. My parents recently changed to Methodist, and I relate closely with the Methodist belief system. My parent's congregation is very open and accepting, and even believes that nothing is wrong with homosexuality.

They may all be Christian religions, but they are not the same.

Many Protestant churches believe that salvation is achieved through faith alone, while Catholicism preaches that faith and good works are necessary for salvation. Just one example.

Yeah, that would explain why Muslim and Hindu out number Christians 4 to 1

Most Protestant churches believe that Faith without Good works is dead. If you truely believe and the Holy Spirit is within you, you will want to do good works in Christs name.

I don't think Catholics are the same as Born-agains.
